These smoothies are made with species appropriate ingredients that support your dog's overall health. You can select the options that best suit your individual dog. Ingredients include:

Serving Options
  1. Serve fresh.
  2. Keep in the refrigerator and serve within 24 hours.
  3. Freeze into ice cube trays and take out as needed. Place in bowl and allow to defrost prior to serving.
 Serving Size
  • x-small size dogs - 1 tsp to 1 tbs 
  • small dogs - 1 tbs to 1/8 cup
  • medium dogs - 1/8 to 1/2 cup
  • large dogs - 1/2 to 3/4 cup
  • x-large dogs - 3/4  to 1 cup
 

4.0 Berry Smoothie Recipe for Dogs

You'll Need
1 cup plain raw goat milk, kefir or yogurt:

2 cups berries (fresh or frozen)
Use one or a combination of the following:
  • Blackberries
  • Blueberries
  • Mulberries  
  • Raspberries 
  • Strawberries

You can also use:
Optional ingredients:
  • 1 to 2 tbsp pure, raw unpasteurized honey (for adult dogs and puppies over 6 months of age).
  • 1 tsp Ceylon cinnamon powder (not cassia cinnamon).
  • 1 tbs raw (or dried), pure, unsweetened coconut flakes.
Preparation 
  1. Pour the liquid ingredient (raw goat milk, kefir, yogurt) into a food processor or blender. 
  2. Add the berries. 
  3. Add the optional ingredients if choosing to use them. 
  4. Blend all ingredients together.
  5. The smoothie is now ready to serve or freeze into ice cube trays.
 

5.0 Banana Smoothie Recipe for Dogs

You'll Need
1 cup plain raw goat milk, kefir or yogurt:

2 cups banana slices (fresh or frozen).
  • For optimal health benefits use bananas that are partially green (not ripe). 
Optional fruit ingredients:
Optional seed butter or tree-nut butter ingredients:
1 to 2 tbs of pure seed or nut butter. Select one of the options below.
  • Almond butter
  • Cashew butter
  • Hazelnut butter
  • Pumpkin seed butter
  • Sunflower seed butter
  • Tahini
  • Watermelon seed butter

Optional supplements:

Optional fruit ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup avocado, or,
  • 1/2 cup blueberries, or
  • 1/8 cup cranberries.
Optional spices:
  • 1 tsp organic Ceylon cinnamon powder (not cassia cinnamon).
  • 1/2 tsp organic ginger powder or 1/2 inch fresh minced ginger root.
Preparation 
  1. Pour the liquid ingredient (raw goat milk, kefir or yogurt) into a food processor or blender. 
  2. Add the berries. 
  3. Add the optional ingredients if choosing to use them. 
  4. Blend all ingredients together.
  5. The smoothie is now ready to serve or freeze into ice cube trays.
